"...This year's theme The man and the city gave a great number of confrontations with the living
in the city. We can notice that a lot of authors have reacted negatively to this urban way of life
(the bustle of city life, traffic, ecology), ignoring the fact that many of them actually like living
in the city, including all positive and negative characteristics of that life. The medium of
caricature, as its popularity, is in the great measure the product of this kind of life."

The OPENING
City Hall hosts the exhibition
Bojan Grlica, a cartoonist from Rijeka, gives an opening speech.
The president of the Croatian Cartoonist Association, Mr. Ivan Šarić thanks to all who made this happening possible.
The exhibition is opened by Mr. Milan Bandić, the mayor of Zagreb.
